Refund Policy

First, if you have a need to consider refunds and returns, you likely ordered a product from us. Which means we owe you a "Thank You!" nothing makes us happier than a gang of Chic Mamas!  We promise to do our very best to deliver an amazing product and customer experience, and make right any hiccups along the way. 

Returns on items eligible for returns are accepted within 20 days of receipt. Items must be returned unopened/unused, with tags if any, in their original packaging. You need to contact us to get the appropriate return address for each product. The items you sent without contacting us will not be eligible for refund.

To return an item please follow the directions below:

  1. Please reach out to returns@chicmamas.com identify which item you would like to return and define the reason for return. 
  2. Our team will provide you the valid return address base on the product you want to return. 
  3. Returning an item is at your own risk. You must ensure that the item is adequately packaged and, at your option and duties, cost, insured. We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging by you or if the item is damaged or lost while being returned to us. Items that are damaged when we receive them will not be eligible for refund. We advice you using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
  4. Please note that refunds are issued in the currency the order was originally placed in regardless of fluctuations in exchange rate. In the case of a discrepancy between the original charge and the refund, please contact us and we will be happy to issue you a store credit in the amount of the difference, less any shipping charges.
  5. Upon receipt of your return, we will inspect the item and confirm your refund via email. Please note that there will be a $10 restocking fee applied to each return item which will be deducted from your refund. Please also note that taxes will be refunded along with the items you sent back, however, duties will not be refunded. Please read “Receiving a Refund” section below for more details. 
  6. Notification for EU consumers: According to Article 16(c) of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal may not be provided for the supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized, therefore Chicmamas reserves rights to refuse returns at its sole discretion.

Late Returns

Any item returned after 20 days of receipt is not eligible for refund.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Please note that we do not accept returns of intimate apparel, earrings, any personalized made-to-order or custom-made products, final sale merchandise, digital goods or products that are specified as non-returnable in its description, unless they are faulty. Any exceptions to this policy will be listed under product details on the product page.

Exchanges

We do not accept exchanges, as items may sell out while the requested exchange is returned and processed. If eligible for return, we encourage you to return the original item, and go to www.chicmamas.com to purchase the correct item in a new order.

Receiving a Refund

A refund will be issued once we have received and inspect your returned items. Any items that are damaged when we receive them are not eligible for refund. Refunds do not include any shipping or handling charges, except in the case of faulty or damaged items. Your refund will be credited to the original form of payment used for the original transaction and will be in the amount of the Product price after the $10 restocking fee deducted.  Any duties paid for international delivery product orders will NOT be refunded. Please note that credit card refunds may take up to 10 business day for your bank to complete, depending on their processing times. This can vary greatly between credit card issuers.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
